How to Apply

We’ve provided application instructions for both our programs, as well as links to online applications.

Sojourns Pathway

1. Review the Requests for Proposals

Read the Requests for Proposals (RFP) to determine:

  • If your organization is eligible to apply for a Sojourns Pathway grant
  • Which of the three Sojourns Pathway grants is appropriate for your organization

2. Submit the online application

Review the application requirements in the appropriate RFP, and click on the associated link below to submit your proposal online by the specified deadline (if applicable). It is not necessary to submit a letter of inquiry. Also, hard copy applications will not be reviewed.

3. Application review

All applications will be reviewed within 45 days of receipt. We may contact some applicants to request additional information and/or arrange a site visit. All applicants will be notified in writing of their application’s status.

4. Grant decisions

The Regence Foundation Board of Directors meets quarterly to make funding decisions. Following each meeting, applicants with grant applications under review will be contacted by phone, email and/or letter about the status of their request.

Building Healthier Communities

1. Complete the online applicant questionnaire

If your organization is eligible, complete and submit the online letter of inquiry (accessible through the Eligibility Questionnaire link also above). Letters of inquiry may be submitted at any time in the year.

2. Complete the online letter of inquiry

The Regence Foundation Board of Directors meets quarterly to make funding decisions. Following each meeting, applicants with grant applications under review will be contacted by phone, email and/or letter about the status of their request.

3. Letter of inquiry review

Letters of inquiry will be reviewed within 60 days of receipt. Upon review, we will contact applicants to either request additional information or a full grant application, or we will provide notification that funding is not being recommended.

4. Grant decisions

After full grant applications have been reviewed, The Regence Foundation Board of Directors will designate grant approvals or denials during one of their quarterly meetings. Applicants with full grant applications under review will be contacted by phone, email and/or letter about funding decisions.
