Now more than ever, people are discussing health care and the barriers to accessing it. At The Regence Foundation, we believe in joining this vital discussion. Yet we also acknowledge that discussion alone cannot overcome challenges—we must translate discussion into action.
The Regence Foundation was established to be a proactive force in our communities. We know that philanthropy plays a vital role in transforming health care in positive ways, and we’ve spent the past two years supporting nonprofit organizations that provide critical health care options and access to those in need. Today we are stepping forward to forge lasting partnerships with organizations that are expanding access, facilitating innovative health care delivery, collaborating to build healthier communities and improving end-of-life care.
To date, The Regence Foundation has granted more than $2 million to 38 nonprofits across Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington. These organizations are giving life to innovative health care solutions, and they are transforming our communities to benefit us all.
Although there is much uncertainty about health care delivery today, The Regence Foundation looks toward a positive future. We will continue supporting organizations that are turning good ideas and fruitful discussions into quality health care outcomes.
Sincerely,
